The hotel itself was spacious, clean, and filled with character. We loved how well equipped it was, as it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, just a stone's throw away from the town square yet still peaceful and quiet. Rebecca, the host, was fantastic and provided us with excellent local advice on dining and places to visit. From the moment we arrived, we instantly felt at home and comfortable. The friendly greetings we received every morning from the lovely ladies at the Candy Shack were an added bonus. We highly recommend Old Printers Ruthin as a base to explore beautiful North Wales!

The shower and bathtub were luxurious, and we loved relaxing in the courtyard. The location was perfect, with friendly pubs, a supermarket, and parking nearby. Ruthin and its surroundings was great. I highly recommend this hotel for a nice stay.

My recent stay at Old Printers Ruthin was fantastic. The character hotel with its rich history made the experience unique. I loved the modern amenities and tea and coffee provided. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything I needed, and I appreciated the extra touches like kitchen towels and washing stuff. The patio and BBQ area were a nice bonus, even though I didn't get a chance to use them. I also enjoyed the games and the extra TV in the bedroom, adding to my comfort and entertainment. The location was perfect as everything I needed was just a few minutes' walk away, including bakeries, takeaways, a Chinese and Indian restaurant, a lovely bistro, and even a Wetherspoons. The outdoor bar at Ruthin Castle was also a great spot to relax. there were several pubs, a Costa, a Boots, a Coop, and a barbershop nearby. Despite being close to everything, the hotel itself was quiet. Although not mentioned in the database, I'm glad to learn that the hotel is within a compound space, making it safe for children to play. The Muslim-friendly environment and helpfulness of the owners, Rebecca and Yvette, were greatly appreciated. I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend Old Printers Ruthin as a base to explore North Wales.
